The hard cast bullet penetrates plenty deeply enough to kill any North American mammal shot from any angle. This ammunition burns a little dirtier than a jacketed bullet load because of the bullet lube used on hard cast bullets, but utilizes a gas check and it will not lead foul any normal barrel.
