The 3rd Gen rechargeable LED flashlight from Pelican was developed in conjunction with the Los Angeles Police Department to produce a functional and practical, every-day carry light. This 368-lumen maximum output LED light features dual-activation switching that lets the user hold it with multiple grips and still have access to a switch. With both tailcap and body switches, its 3-way switching circuitry allows the light to be activated with one switch and turned off with the other. This versatile functionality lets the user hold the light at their side with a full grip or in a tactical flashlight/pistol grip, depending on the situation.
The housing is constructed of temperature, corrosion, and impact-resistant Xenoy polymer that will stand-up to the rigors of everyday use. Utilizing Pelican's anti-roll octagonal design, the light can be placed on inclined surfaces and will stay in place. The body has a textured surface, with a deeply molded handle to provide a secure grip in cold or wet conditions, or when wearing gloves. This version of the 7060 flashlight includes a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that charges in the included 110VAC charging base.
